The recent news about the microplastics found in human testicles has shocked many people. While it is not surprising to find microplastics in human organs, I really hope this news awakens us to the ways we can stop or at least avoid contributing to microplastics in our daily life. Here are 5 ways I follow to keep my microplastics contribution at a lower level: 1. Stop buying bottled water. I carry a steel bottle filled with water everywhere. As simple as that. I think they call the bottle you carry everywhere = Emotional support bottle. To some degree that is true as I do not get anxious about pollution caused by me. 2. Choose 100% cotton. Do you know one of the greatest contributors to microplastic is synthetic clothing? If you are into fast fashion, please take a look at the label of your clothing.
